Hi! I'm Anna Bruni Sabhaney
My goal is to support you in showcasing your impact and raising more money with confidence and clarity.
I have raised hundreds of thousands of pounds and consulted for tens of charities. I also bring a rare mix of skills that can help you get better fundraising results.
A Programme Built for Leaders Who Are Tired of Guessing, Hoping, or Winging It
For UK charity leaders who want deep support, a thinking partner, and tailored guidance to solve real fundraising challenges.
Engaging talks and workshops that explore key issues and proposed new systems and beliefs. These can be curated around specific topic and desired outcomes, get in touch to discuss more.
ONLINE COURSE & PEER COMMUNITY
Most fundraising advice is written for big charities with big teams. You don’t have that. You have heart, mission, pressure, and a tiny team (or no team at all).
This isn’t theory. This is practical, psychology‑informed, systems‑designed support for real‑world small‑charity life.
I spent years doing the work - grants, donor outreach, grantwriting, monitoring and evaluation assessments. I noticed 12 common barriers that can stop a charity from getting the funding it deserves.
I created a programme that helps charities resolve these 12 obstacles, is affordable and realistic for small teams.
The great thing about it is that gets you to fundraise from week one, giving you templates and a format to reach out to new donors.
Each of the 12 modules includes 5 short videos and an action sheet with templates and checklists.
Every week is designed to shift your beliefs and make it really easy for you to take targetted action.
A NEW APPROACH TO FUNDRAISING
BRING BACK JOY AND EASE
This is not just about setting up a new fundraising system that is more predictable and takes the stress away. It is about making it feel easy to take consistent focused action. We work on shifting beliefs and attitude because beliefs support long-term consistent action. That brings back the joy of showing up with confidence and pride in your work.
By the end of the course you will have:
Although we cannot guarantee any particular income level, many students have increased their charities income within 6 months.
LIGHTEN YOUR MENTAL LOAD
Grant question reviews? Feedback on your Narrative? Too much on your plate? I've got your back. We know as you take action you'll have questions, that's why I've created a weekly opportunity for you to get the answers you need so that you never have to face fundraising challenges alone.
TAKE GUIDED ACTION
It builds daily momentum through small, doable steps. Worksheets, templates, scripts, and real examples make it easy to take action.
TAKE A STEP TOWARDS FINANCIAL SECURITY NOW.
You can start the tried and tested the 12-Step Roadmap Online Course now risk-free for 7 days. You will not regret it!
The most passionate, committed consultant we have ever come across. Working with Anna was a dream! People are 'getting' us now very quickly. We do a lot less explaining and a lot more building. Funders are interviewing us; local organisations want to partner with us and people are signing up for our programmes on a daily basis. All and all we have so much more organic activity than we ever had, and it really has everything to do with the new messaging.
Peter K.A
Listening to the budget video now and optimism bias and I just want to soak it all up and put it into practice..

The most useful thing we learnt was selecting the right indicators in order to check the progress in the field. This is useful for our future funding purposes and to track changes happening at the community level.
Pius R.
Anna cares so much, nothing gets past her. If I had a strong feeling about something but I couldn’t quite crystallise it, she wouldn’t brush over it she would take the time to understand what I was trying to say and that is so important. Because often it’s the things that you don’t know how to say that really need to be understood or worked on.
Bethany H.
It opened my eyes to the uncomfortable power dynamics between applicant/grantee and funder...I joined The Confluencers because I wanted to increase the grant income. Anna showed me that we could shift those by behaving differently - we needed to partner with grant-makers to achieve our objectives. The Confluencers taught us that we had it in our power to reset the rules. A year on, we have three large funders supporting their grantees through our programme with others considering doing the same.
Penny W.
Many thanks to Anna too for your enthusiasm and dedication
Andrea S.
While giving very hands on advice she also gave us inspiration for how best to show what we do and how we do it, pointing out where we might go back to the basics and where to dig deeper. She has helped us think about how our impact communication can be less cerebral and more focused on describing our real work and impact in a simple and accessible way.
Joe M.
Anna Bruni Sabhaney, has been very supportive, patient, kind, understanding and a great mentor throughout the training. She has really helped me understand a lot of complicated issues and process the topic addressed in the proposal.
Alethea K.L.
Our fundraising activities were intertwined with networking, making it hard to gauge what was/wasn't effective and how we could move from the 'waves' to having a steadier stream of funding. I am now more targeted in my approach, I know what I want to achieve, what works and what doesn’t.

Anna was really helpful in focussing my priorities, aims and objectives for the next year of my charity. I highly recommend her and look forward to working with her again soon.

The section of the training on setting SMARTER goal was most useful, a tool that would be helpful for me to foster better community engagement by helping communities analyse and prioritise their core problems while aligning to the scope and objectives of the project.
Janak S.
Anna was helpful, insightful and pragmatic offering a fresh perspective that opened avenues of advancement for our charity that fit with our skill set.
Michael B.
I learnt how to explain why they should be a part of our work. I also learnt budgeting and systemic mapping of end users' problems. Storytelling was the best part
Rimchi M.
Anna is warm open and easy to talk to. She is clearly knowledgeable and able to communicate her experience in a very engaging way.
Jade S.
Anna is incredibly insightful and was able to pin point exactly what our non-profit needs to do to improve. Highly recommend working with her and look forward to working with her again in the future

I KNOW YOU MIGHT HAVE QUESTIONS
It is a practical online charity fundraising course. Together we work through 12 typical roadblocks that prevent your charity from getting the long-term funding and quality relationships your work deserves. It is practical, builds daily momentum and includes worksheets, templates and examples. It includes access to a private peer learning community, searchable library of resources and weekly live Q&A calls. Learn more here.
The course can be completed at your own pace. It was initially designed to be completed over three months, with one short lesson per day and a weekly action list to guide implementation of key steps. You may find that you want to go deeper and dedicate a little bit more time to some parts of the process, this will depend on what resources you already have and what specific challenges you are facing. The fees include access to the course and community and material for one year.
No prior fundraising experience is required. However far along you are in your journeys there will be shifts and learnings that can benefit your work. Some expert charity leaders with more than 40 years' experience have benefited from the approaches and lessons taught in this course.
The course is practical so from module 1 you will be encouraged to take small action steps towards your priorities. Upon completion you will have:
Although we cannot guarantee any particular income level, many students have increased their charities income within 6 months.
The course includes videos, transcripts, and downloadable worksheets and templates. Most resources are provided as pdfs or editable word or excel documents. The course also gives you access to weekly Q&A so you can get any questions answered. These are done either as live calls or as a pre-recorded video. The course platform gives you access to community conversations where you can connect and ask peers for feedback.
I know that your plate is already full. That's why the 12-step roadmap has been broken down into short 20 min lessons. You can listen on the go using the App. Or watch the videos. What matters is that you set aside a little bit of time each week to keep going. It can be 20 min a week or 20 min a day. Every lesson will shift something and make fundraising easier in your day to day job. The end goal is to reduce the amount of time it takes you to get funded. However, it does mean investing some time upfront to get the systems in place. If you are looking for a magic bullet or someone to do the work for you this is not the best fit for you.
Yes. You will be provided with up to two logins. You are lienced to share the videos within your organisation over the course of your one-year membership. Only one member per organisation will be allowed on live Q&A calls at a time. I reccommend nominating one member to complete the course to ensure your charity gets the most out of the investment.
Proportional pricing matters to us. I have invested the equivalent of 6 months of work and distilled 15 years of experience and £30,000 worth of training into the programme. Delivering it live and providing the weekly support 1:1 would be significantly more expensive. Delivering it as a blended online and live model means you can access the same knowledge for less than £3 per day. However, we recognise that some charities are just starting off, so for charities with an income last year of less than £50,000 there a limited number of bursary places. These will be allocated on a first come first serve basis every 3 months. To see if there are spaces available, write to us with your charity registration details at info@theconfluencers.com
Yes. You can spread the annual investment over 12 months or pay in full upfront. Paying in full upfront gives you a 20% discount on the full fee.
We have a 7 day no questions asked refund policy. We want you to love being part of the course and community, so if you try it and it's not for you and you let us know within 7 days of purchase, we will process a full refund no questions asked.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO STAY STUCK.
Take the guesswork out of fundraising and transform your donor relationships into relationships that nurture and support you.
1:1 COACHING THAT FEELS LIKE A CHARITY BEST FRIEND
For leaders who want a clear, actionable fundraising system — and that extra bit of support.
Together we help you shift what you can control — and see donor reactions shift too.
My style of working is open, informal, non-judgemental and supportive. I join you like I am one of your team and care about your success as much as I would my own. I cheer you on, give you perspective and help get you unstuck, whatever fundraising challenges you are going through.

- Laureen Van Breen, CEO, Wikirate
Our income has almost tripled in 18 months.
The programme showed us the power of demonstrating our impact, and gave us the freedom to do things our way. 18 months ago, I wouldn't have dreamed of doing that. Thank you The Confluencers!

IN 2018 I WAS SWAMPED WITH POST-ITS
✓ Not getting the fundraising results you want
You spend 50-60% of your time fundraising, writing grants, raising awareness, but don't get the results you would like.
✓ "I am not free to do the work I want to do"
You feel frustrated that you can't do the work you want to do because donors want something else.
✓ No unrestricted core funding to pay staff
You had to let go of talented, passionate staff because of funding cuts and caps on core spending.
✓ "Fundraising feels like throwing spaghetti at a wall, hoping something will stick."
You are not sure why you got a "no" from a funder that was "the perfect fit." You have tried everything and wish there were an easier way to get the funding you need.
✓ Never have the luxury of time to think
You can never find time to get clarity on what works and what doesn't.
DON'T STAY STUCK
